Being the owner of an award-winning craft beer bar, I obviously wanted to offer what is truly legal as well as stay the course of our mission to help breweries thrive. Alas. What Are Delta-9 Seltzers?
Delta-9 seltzers are a refreshing, bubbly drink infused with Delta-9 THC, a cannabinoid derived from hemp. These seltzers offer a unique way to unwind, combining the crisp taste of a seltzer with the relaxing effects of Delta-9 THC.
To be clear, there is no alcohol in these. There legally can’t be. However, there can be additional CBD added which you will know if it is as they must legally state so on the can or bottle. For the most part, Delta-9 seltzers are primarily sparkling water with fruit flavors added.
Are Delta-9 Seltzers Legal In Wisconsin?
Delta-9 seltzers are legal in Wisconsin as they are made from hemp-derived Delta-9 THC, adhering to the 2018 Farm Bill. This bill permits hemp products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis, making Delta-9 seltzers fully compliant with state and federal laws.
Will that change? Perhaps. But as of this writing (and obviously since 2018) it has been legal.

What’s great about these drinks is the fact you don’t need to hide them. You can drink them while you relax at a bar like ours or you can buy them to-go to enjoy where you please.
While we don’t intend to put a these drinks on tap, we do offer them in cans from our reach-in cooler that you can purchase for on-site consumption or takeaway.
