Damn was specialty coffee a good run – we’ll be putting our coffee program on hiatus after May 21st. The coffee partners have been amazing and the guests have been incredible (shout out to all you regulars!). Alas, we’re up against staffing challenges that we can’t overcome near term.
If you’ve been with us on this journey for the last three years, you already know we’re silver linings people. As I told my team – we didn’t do all of this thinking it would be flawless and easy. If anything, we’re excited to put all that energy we had been putting toward specialty coffee into an even grater craft beer service.
And while we’re reverting hours and putting the espresso machine to “snooze” – we’ll still have cold brew and tea on nitro, as well as retail coffee bags for sale. Heck, Bri and I might do some weekend coffee pop ups throughout the year when we can get a sitter for our two little girls 😉
Alright – that’s the news, now let’s get to the other stuff.

BOARD GAME MEET UP
Our board game section has been leveled up thanks to some extremely kind board gaming guests. To keep leveling up the board game experience at GBB, we’re hosting a board game night every week with Madison Beer & Board Games group on Thursdays from 5:30-9 p.m.
BEERTENDER
We’re hiring a beer geek who wants to support our mission. If you’re interested in beertending with us, send a note to garth@garthsbrewbar.com with a blurb about why.
COLLABORATION BREWS
Releasing soon: a dark czech lager called “Dance In The Rain” that we brewed with Lupulin Brewing company.
Coming up: beer collabs with Vennture out of Milwaukee and Copper State out of Green Bay.
